I WANT TO CREATE MY CAMPAIGN: WHAT SHOULD I DO?

You only have to follow these 3 simple steps:

  1. SUBMIT YOUR CAMPAIGN
  2. DESIGN YOUR CAMPAIGN
  3. ACTIVATE YOUR CAMPAIGN

From the home page you can navigate directly to the SUBMIT CAMPAIGN tab. If you have not registered you can do so here

We will need:

  • A title for the project.
  • A brief description of the project.
  • 3 songs of the project you want to fund.
  • And a 1 minute video featuring all the participants.

IMPORTANT: The video must be encoded in MP4 format (H264 video codec and AAC audio codec). To convert video from other formats we recommend using the Open Source Miro Video Converter application.

The video and audio do not have to be professional. With the shots made at the rehearsal studio it would be enough but it must always be a clear presentation that allows us to evaluate the project and in a popular format such as .mp3

The QNPLM editorial team will evaluate the project (we reserve 10 business days) and will reply by e-mail.

If your project is selected you must enter the Step (2) DESIGN YOUR CAMPAIGN section and you will have to fill in a detailed form in order to make a budget for your Recording project. Within a maximum of 10 business days we will give you an answer and if we need more data we will contact you.

Once this form is SENT you will receive a confirmation e-mail from Step (2) and a link to “Tips for choosing the Rewards”

While the Platform takes a few days (up to 10 working days) to compose the Recording Budget with all the data you have submitted, you will have time to get started with and budgeting the Rewards.

Once you receive the Recording Budget it will be time to go to Step (3) ACTIVE YOUR CAMPAIGN : fill in the data regarding the rewards.

Within a maximum of 10 business days you should try to establish the MINIMUM FUNDING OBJECTIVE by adding up the two budgets: the recording budget and the rewards budget (do not forget to take into account bank charges and commissions, Platform commissions + VAT and possible tax liabilities.

And finally you can ACTIVATE IT!

We will proceed to review and edit it for publication and in a few days we will send you an e-mail to tell you that your campaign is already PUBLISHED.

Then, from your campaign website you will be able to make updates and submit comments. You can include video, text and photos. And also watch your support.

HOW CAN I SUBMIT MY CAMPAIGN?

The FANS are driven by the passion you put into your project and convey it the best you know. You can include pictures, video, infogrames … whatever comes to your mind.

Tell them about your project and why it is important to you. Be entertaining and original in your presentation … and don’t make it excessively long.

If you include photos or video, strive for excellence; do not settle for snapshots uploaded from a mobile phone. The quality and especially original approaches and fun ones will earn many points.

WHAT TO DO IF A FAN IS INTERESTED IN CONTRIBUTING TO MY CAMPAIGN BUT HAS NO CREDIT CARD?

If you have raised funds through some other channel … or a friend, a close relative or a SUPER FAN suggests to give you the money in cash because he has no credit card … We suggest you to handle this issue with great respect to become worthy of such trust: you are the only one responsible for collecting all the necessary data to be able to send them their reward … or return the money back if the campaign does not reach its target.

In this payment mode the QNPLM Platform disclaims all responsibility.

In any case these contributions have to be effective in your campaign to count as such.

To do so you must open a new account as “USER FAN” with a general real name for all these contributions (e.g.: “Unconditional”).

And with that user name and following all the steps, submit at the QNPLM website (with credit card) the cash contributions of each FAN to your campaign.

Then send to the FAN the receipt that is automatically generated by the QNPLM platform as a proof of their contribution.

WHAT OPTIONS ARE INCLUDED IN THE QNPLM PLATFORM?

Everything that has a place in the musical world … from large recordings (LP’s, innovative projects, classical music, folk, dubbing audio, original formations, corals, soundtracks, live concerts, in your school, wherever you want …) to small projects such as recording a Single, EP’s, mastering, mixing themes and prints, advertising projects, alternative music, jingles … the only limit is your imagination.

Our CROWDFUNDING also contemplates the possibility of moving and making live recordings if what you want is to transmit the energy of your concerts. In this mode you can move to any destination of your choice making it more comfortable for you.

You will also be able to access our Online Service: Mixing, Editing and Mastering.

DOES THE QNPLM PLATFORM ESTABLISH SOME FILTER TO ADVERTISE THE PROJECT?

We are very respectful with all the music projects.

But ultimately the editorial team reserves the right to apply its own criteria.

CAN THE TOTAL BUDGET FOR THE AUDIO PROJECT BE EXCEEDED IF THE FUNDING TIME LIMIT HAS NOT EXPIRED?

No doubt, this would be your best reward as well as the absolute recognition to your project.

If you collect a bigger amount of money than the one you were asking for in your Campaign, we suggest you to inform your fans about where are you going to invest the extra money.

They’ll love to know about

If you decide to keep your FANS contributing to your campaign until the funding time limit you need to provide us with an account number.

In any case all contributions (referred to as those in the achievement of the project and the extra ones out of that budget) will have their corresponding reward.

Important Note: rewards (music CD’s, t-shirts, etc…) are considered as a consideration for the money paid. In other words, it is a purchase.

And as such the recipient of the funds, whether it is an individual or legal entity, shall comply with tax obligations established by regulations.

The money received will be treated as an income on economic activity. It will generate an invoice and will be subject to taxation (income tax or corporation tax).

HOW MUCH TIME IS REQUIRED TO CONSIDER A PROJECT FINISHED?

The ARTIST shall have a maximum of 40 days to carry out his project.

To solve possible problems in collecting credit card payments we reserve 10 more days to resolve. (In case that a credit card was invalidated ..)

The QNPLM platform in this case is responsible for sending a mail to the FAN to confirm their contribution

Once all contributions have been made effective and the budgeted amount is reached, the campaign will be considered achieved and completed.

And all parts involved shall be notified.

HOW TO PREPARE THE REWARDS?

Rewards are an important part of the success of your campaign. You should take enough time to manage them because the possibilities are limitless.

Having a good list of rewards can determine success or failure. Go for products or services related to the theme of your project, in this case music.

Step into the shoes of your FANS and note that without their help you cannot fulfill your dream. Offer them some real value beyond a price.

The unique and especially the personal experiences that you can share with your FANS are unrepeatable. And they will thank you in the form of support.

Once you have designed and sent your campaign (STEP 2) we will send you a link with “Tips for choosing the Rewards”

When the funding ends do not forget to thank your FANS from your blog, as well as inform them when they will have their reward.

They deserve everything and will surely be wishing to receive them.

HOW MANY REWARDS CAN BE OFFERED?

Any number you decide. But consider providing value rather than quantity.

We suggest setting a maximum of 10 rewards. Having too many to choose from you can create indecision.

IS IT REQUIRED TO LIMIT THE AMOUNT OF EACH REWARD?

It is not mandatory. But for the rewards that involve a cost (merchandising …) we suggest you to limit them in number in order to calculate the budget.

The other rewards, those with minimal or no costs, (downloads, invitations ..), don’t limit them. Only those that require limiting them to avoid losing their property of exclusivity:

  • The band performs at the house of the patron (limit the number of rewards to capacity)
  • To limit attendance to the recording studio (number of fans / day of recording)

CAN I ADD REWARDS ONCE THE CAMPAIGN IS ACTIVATED?

During the campaign (only if the reward has not had any input), you may cancel or change any reward. But to not undermine the campaign with too many changes, speak with us before by e-mail.

If you reach the established objective and you still have days ahead to keep on raising money for your campaign, you can add rewards without harming any of your FANS.

Think of rewards that will improve in value those that you have already published and managed. And explain to your FANS the reason for this extension.

If some reward has not received any contribution from any of your fans… you can also modify or cancel it in benefit of other rewards.

At the same time it is essential that you promote and explain to your FANS how you will improve your project thanking them for their commitment to your campaign.

HOW CAN YOU DISCLOSE YOUR CAMPAIGN?

At QNPLM we have our own digital promotion to advertise all projects included in the website.

But we think a PERSONALIZED promoting for your project will give the campaign a surprising boost. Maybe some of our partners could help you. Ask us for more information.

Plan and create content on your social networks involving your fans and friends, even before your campaign is published.

And also consider sending personal e-mails as they are very effective. You will be surprised.

ONCE MY CAMPAIGN IS ACTIVATED, CAN I CANCEL IT?

Only if you have not raised any funds.

If so, and if you want to cancel it just send us an e-mail and we will answer your request without any problem.
